Guess what??? We went to Goblin Valley too. Must be a popular place.

Going to Goblin Valley was not even in our plans when we headed for GR. But we made the trip out there Saturday afternoon with our friends from Alpine. The kids had a blast running, hiding & climbing through the Goblins.

Oh what do you do in the Summer time?

A few weeks ago Abby started riding her bike. It was actually the same weekend as Ali. We thought that was fun not knowing and later finding out. Guess great minds think alike. Isn't it so fun to see kids accomplish something and see how much happiness and satisfaction it bring them. She thinks she's pretty darn cool!!

Goblin Valley

I took Jonah, Genacie, Savannah and Caylee to Goblin Valley! We had a really fun time climbing on all the Goblins and they were all really good sports about letting me take their pictures. We came up with some pretty cute ones I think!

As always, have to have a silly face picture!

We had to climb a big "green mountain" to find this tiny cave and Jonah said proudly when we got there, "This is so cool! I could live in here!"

I love this picture with their red faces after hiking around for a while. They were worn out and ready for water and grandma's house!

Picture Time.....

Some are a little nuts.......well here are the nuts in action!
The kids wanted to do a funny face when were were taking the family pictures!
This is the result that we got and it cracks me up!

Abby's school bus ride.

Every morning Abby watching the school buses has they take the kids to school. So when her teacher told her that the were going to ride the bus in preparation for kindergarten she was ecstatic. I think she liked it and the driver is a really neat lady.

Abby's last Baseball game!

After the game we all went to the Pizza Factory for party and to receive their trophy's. The kids were so excited.

Abby and her cute little trophy.

This was the last time she was up to bat. I have tried all season to capture her hitting the ball and I finally got it on her last hit!! ..... in every picture of her batting she never follows the ball all the way to bat, it's amazing she is such a good hitter!! Go Abby we sure love you. You're an awesome base ball player.

High on a mountain top.....

Lance hiked to the rock house that we had posted about earlier. It looks awesome. He went and check out the trail before we took Abby up there. Not sure if Abby could make it, it's pretty tough. Lance took some good pictures. It's amazing how much work people put into it, it's not like you can drive to it so all supplies they would have had to pack up there. Pretty impressive.

Lance said he was thinking of me when he took this picture through the window. LOL I guess I'm rubbin' off on him.

Check it out, pretty amazing.

He said that on his way back there were other hikers on their way up there to camp.

On the way back he came across a rattle snake............!!! YIKES>> He's a crazy man and started poking it with a stick so he could get this cool picture. I have to say I am impressed with it but I think I would have pee'd my pants!!

So now to the best part. He got home and showed me the pictures and I told him we should ask our 85 year old neighbor about this rock house. So we printed a picture of it and walked over to his house. He started to giggle and said, oh boy, you guys found the nudest colonie!!! Yep, that's right I guess years back the nudest needed to get away so they built it. WOW all I have to say is.... that's a lot of rock to move in the nude!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10th Anniversary

I've been meaning to blog these pictures and now that in 45 minutes till June 1st, I thought it's a great time!! Lance and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary in April. The past 10 years have been wonderful adventure, so far we have moved 6 times with more to come. Our little family has become so close and I wouldn't change anything!!! To celebrate our 10 years together we rented a cabin at a bed and breakfast called Whispering Pines. It's just north of Lake Isabella, CA it was a wonderful treat, our cabin was awesome, we had a beautiful view from our back deck, and the food was delicious. It was the first time we have been away from Abby (other than a night in the hospital... I was so drugged it doesn't count!) it was weird to not have her with us but she had a blast with grandpa Randy. Here's to the next 10 years!!
